Get Started with Wikis
ShopWiki is currently using trusted editors to write and update content in the wiki buying guides. If you're one of these editors, it's really easy! Just click on the "edit" tab at the top of the wiki guide and begin editing.

Don't be afraid to edit or start a wiki—you can’t break it. A history of every change is kept, so if you make a mistake, it’s easily fixed with the click of the mouse. Remember to have fun writing and editing, but please don't vandalize the guides.

The most important thing to remember when writing or editing in a wiki is to keep the NPOV (Neutral Point Of View) tone. The ShopWiki community will not benefit from blatant marketing or promoting, and any such content added to a wiki guide will be promptly removed or reworked by the community. If an online retailer adds their site to a wiki guide, ShopWiki reserves the right to remove it from its index at our discretion. ShopWiki also condemns plagiarism. It is fine to use other resources for research purposes, but do not copy anything from another Web site or magazine without attributing it to the source, with a link to their site.

If you are looking for more specific help, below you’ll find a directory of guides that further explain the wikis and how to use the Plain Text Editor and the Rich Text Editor. Click on any of the guides to get started.Welcome to the ShopWiki community!
