Playing from men’s yellow medal tee. To start your round the 1st is a fairly straight-forward par 4 of 289 metres. The first par 3 of the round is the 7th hole, measuring 194 metres from an elevated tee. Not surprisingly, not all golfers will reach the putting surface in one shot. Our Club is noted for its hospitality and we particularly welcome individual Visitors and Societies to visit and enjoy our course. A friendly welcome awaits all grades of leisure golfers – and there are also a few challenges for the lower handicapper, particularly on our exciting new Back 9 holes.

Major focal points of the course are the secluded 4th and 6th hole which are isolated from the remainder of the course by a meandering stream, drawing the golfer into a difficult shot to the green; indeed the aforementioned 6th remains one of the best inland par fours in Ireland.
