Loch Venacher or Loch Bheannchair is a fresh water loch located in Stirling, Scotland. In 1893 Williams exhibited at the Academy giving a permanent address as, The Studio, 4 Hatch Street. Scottish landscapes dominated in his works this year with scenes of Loch Achray and Loch Vennachair in Perthshire, and Loch Etire in Argyll (See Snoddy p.712). It is possible that this work was exhibited at the Academy that year.
